Brae Burn Country Club

Rating/Slope: 74.4/140

This 6,672 yard par 72 Championship course is the host of USGA Championships. The club boasts an exclusive and classic clubhouse complete with a restaurant and bar as well as tennis courts. The club was founded in 1897 and has a deep tradition in priding itself with natural and timeless beauty. In addition to the 18 hole course, it also has a 9 hole course, and a golf simulator at the clubhouse. The 18 hole championship course has some extremely narrow fairways and island fairways to be aware of making for a challenging private golf experience.

Woodland Golf Club

Located right next to Brae Burn, this course is 6,721 yards in length and has been in service since the early 1900’s. The clubhouse includes elegant dining areas with patio seating as well for members and guests to take in views of the course, a six land swimming pool with a poolside cafe and a racquet club. The course has great scenery and wide fairways with some slight dog-leg left and rights, but nothing too dramatic. On hole 11, there is a water hazard 60-100 yards in front of the green making for a tough choice to lay up or play aggressively. The rest of the holes on the back nine offers mostly straightaways making for an enjoyable end to your golf day.
